Mexico's Heritage Through Photographic Lens

Latin Style Events will be showcasing the artistic work of Professional Latino Photographers who have been able to tell a story about Mexico and its heritage through their lens.

Thanks to the support of the California Latino Legislative Caucus we will be able to exhibit 50 pictures from different photographers that will be displayed at key locations in the Sacramento Midtown area. Each picture will be displayed against a white matte with a matte finish (16x20) and signed by each photographer.

This year was proclaimed by Mexican President Felipe Calderon as "Ano de la Patria" or "Year of the Nation" due to Mexico's 200th Anniversary of Independence and 100th Anniversary of its Revolution. We want to join president Calderon's efforts to use these anniversaries to "reflect on where the country has been and to think about what kind of Mexico descendents will inherit in the future."

These professional images will be in charge of telling stories about Mexico's heritage and what the country has to offer the world and generations to come.

The thousands of attendees who enjoy this photographic exhibition will have the opportunity to buy the pieces once the exhibition in the Midtown area ends. The money raised through this effort will be given to each photographer to continue supporting his or her work and love for their artistic profession.
