October 2, 2010
Add Review/Comment
Sacramento Latin Music & Arts Festival takes place during Hispanic Heritage Month.
This celebration will feature great live music, tasty food, dancing, theatre, art, jewelry, and so much more. This event has been sanctioned by the Mexican Consulate as the official event of the Mexican Bicentennial–marking 200 years of Mexico’s independence. There will be headline performances by Spirit of Latin Rock and Manzo featuring members of War, Malo, and Tower of Power! Locally, Rafael Vargas, Ritmoz Latinoz, Centro, and Latin Touch will be performing.
This is a family friendly event, so there will be lots of activities for the kids.
The Joe and Isabel Serna Family will be presenting a very special award to dignitaries in the Hispanic Community including Cruz Reynoso, Dolores Huerta, Linda Ronstadt and the Royal Chicano Air Force.
