Introducing a Walking Tour of Central Oak Park

At this event a new 32-page self-guided walking tour of Central Oak Park will be publicly unveiled. The brochure highlights the community's architectural and historical significance through photographs and interpretation.
Dr. Robin Datel, Chair of the Geography Department at CSUS, will present "Local Places Tell Big Stories: A Walking Tour of Sacramento's Central Oak Park." Dr. Datel will discuss the walking tour content, key themes, and details of the individual tour sites.
The tour brochures will be available at locations throughout the Central Oak Park area after Oct 21.
This project was made possible by financial support from the Center for Sacramento History, CSUS, and the Sacramento County Historical Society.
