A True Night on the Town, Art Therapy Style!

Join us for a night out that you won’t want to miss! The Night on the Town event is a Sacramento Art Walk that will include visits to several local galleries, as well as performances. Stroll through Midtown, the heart of the art in Sacramento, and enjoy local art, food, and performances. Follow our guide as you plan your Friday evening around a visit to the many galleries opened late, including the 20th Street Art Gallery, the 20th Street Annex, the Kennedy Gallery, and the b.sakata garo Gallery. Along the way, take a detour in a shop, grab some dinner, and enjoy the night air.

Then head down to the Weatherstone Café and join NorCATA for Soul Awareness, an art show featuring the art of local American Art Therapy Association members. Stop and network in the heated outdoor courtyard, have a drink, and enjoy the atmosphere. For more information on the art show, click here.

Then it’s on to the Sacramento Art Complex, weaving in and out of multiple individual art studios and attending demos by some of their artists. Be sure to check out the Shirley Mason exhibit at Gallery 2110. You also may want to attend an introduction to a new photography technique or enjoy a beverage offered by Sudwerk as a fundraiser for the Sacramento Food Bank. Wrapping up the night, our very own Bruce Moon will strum some chords at the L Wine Lounge. Grab a stool, order a beverage and laugh the night away.
