Deborah Aschheim will talk about Taxonomy, a public artwork she created at Robbie Waters Pocket-Greenhaven Library. Aschheim has spent much of her career creating sculptural and interactive multi-sensory responses to neuroscience, memory, and cognitive processes. She has explored the theme of Neural Architecture in exhibitions at the Armory Center for the Arts; Otis College of Art and Design; Laguna Art Museum; and Consolidated Works Art Space in Seattle; among many others.
