Formed in 1996, Trans-Siberian Orchestra consists of three talented songwriters—Paul O'Neill, Robert Kinkel, and Jon Oliva—and an incredibly diverse collection of musicians, ranging from rock guitarists to R&B singers to classically trained instrumentalists. Combining the grandeur of an orchestra with the energy of a hard rock group, the members of Trans-Siberian Orchestra have redefined rock opera and transcended musical boundaries, all while dazzling audiences with their incredible musicianship and highly theatrical shows. The outfit's wondrous holiday albums and engaging live performances have made them a much-loved fixture of the winter season.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) has sold more than seven million copies of its first four rock operas--1996's Christmas Eve & Other Stories, 1998's The Christmas Attic, Beethoven's Last Night in 2000 and 2004's The Lost Christmas Eve. On the road, meanwhile, they have become one of the world's top touring acts, with a $20 million-plus production that by 2008 played to over 5 million people in 80+ cities, selling more than $230 million worth of tickets. And, oh yeah, there was that crazy beer ad with the insanely decorated Christmas house whose lights were synced to TSO's "Wizards in Winter."
