 The march is a living embodiment of King's vision with all people—across age, race, or political lines—joining together in an inspirational fellowship to mark their support.

We begin the day's events with a community march for all to attend. The march begins at the Oak Park Community Center and continues to the Sacramento Community Center downtown.

At the end of the march, celebrants enter the Sacramento Community Center for a job fair and expo. The event features local businesses, non-profits, and public agencies offering job information; there is a hands-on art room for children; musical & gospel performances take place throughout the day; health service programs distribute materials; and educational opportunities are presented.

      I am interested in attending an MLK event tomorrow. I am disappointed that the one I found culminates in a job fair. ugh! I am interested in celebrating MLK tomorrow, not getting job info. Plenty of... Expand
