Sketch Comedy Class

Learn to write sketches like those on SNL, MadTV, Whitest Kids U ‘Know, and Human Giant. This intro to Sketch Comedy class will teach students the basics of taking their funny ideas and putting them into sketch format.

Each class ends with a class performance. Students who complete the class are eligible to audition for our Main Stage Sketch Comedy group.

Instructor, Brian Crall, is the owner and managing director of the Sacramento Comedy Spot. Brian was the creator, a performer, and director of the Free Hooch Comedy Troupe which ran in Sacramento for six years.

In Spring 2011 the Sacramento Comedy Spot will be starting a new main stage sketch comedy group. We are relaunching our sketch program in order to train writers and performers.
