A wise man once said that a prophet is never honored in his own country. And so it has been with Capleton. While the veteran DJ's words and works long ago earned him the title of “The Prophet,” the respect and honor that should rightfully be his have been a long time coming.

    Everyone has the right to voice there opinion the thing is Capleton is not one to kill anyone.... but it is out of the bible...Sodaom and gomorrah.... Sodom and Gomorrah have been used as metaphors for vice and homosexual deviation. The story has therefore given rise to words in several languages, including the English word "sodomy," a term used today predominantly in law (derived from traditional Christian usage) to describe anal intercourse, as well as bestiality, and homosexuality....... Basically anything that does not have to do with creation or the continuation of human life such as man and woman and NOT man and man and woman and woman is not ok... But again these are our opinions and have the right to them just as anyone else has the right to theirs..... Most important thing is to promote Peace and Love.... But also Respect for one anothers views...Guidance Collapse

    Capleton has a long history of writing songs that call for LGBT people to be killed and making comments from stage that call for LGBT people to be killed. He signed the Reggae Compassionate Act... Expand
    
    Capleton has a long history of writing songs that call for LGBT people to be killed and making comments from stage that call for LGBT people to be killed. He signed the Reggae Compassionate Act agreement in mid 2007, promising not to promote hatred and violence. He broke that agreement before the end of 2007. You can watch him do this in a YouTube video (see link below). The "Read More" link also has four of his "kill LGBT" songs. In February 2010, his entire West Coast tour was canceled. For this November 2010 tour, he has been canceled in San Francisco and Santa Cruz. He was canceled at Harlow's in 2004. Read more http://bit.ly/9lg1KD Collapse
