If you are looking for something that is really fun, interesting, and different to do on a Saturday night, take the Old Sacramento Speakeasy tour--a perfect way to kick off a night out on the town.

The Speakeasy Tour Pub Crawl starts at the River City Saloon in Old Sac, which really sets the mood with an old-time saloon feel that includes hardwood floors covered in sawdust and peanut shells and was once the home to one of many Sacramento Speakeasies. The tour continues to several other venues in Old Sac, all of which were at one point speakeasies, including the Delta King Riverboat, which once played a role as a floating home for prohibition drinking and gambling.

As the tour moves from place to place, guide Shawn will give you plenty of time to grab a prohibition-era cocktail or beer and mingle with your friends, bartenders, and the rest of your group. Shawn is a twenty-something history buff whose sole mission is to leave no question unanswered and get everyone’s night kicked off right!

The Speakeasy Tour Pub Crawl is offered every 3rd Saturday of the month.

      Call ahead of time to make pre-paid reservations. The tour often sells out, and when sold out can't take walk ups. Make sure you reserve your space ahead of time.
