Support SMAC and get your holiday shopping done at the same time! Live in-store performances and more!
Performances include:
-11am: Hmong Cultural Arts dance ensemble
-Noon: Sacramento Poets & Writers: Poet Laureate Bob Stanley, host and poetry; Valerie Fioravanti, fiction; Tim Kahl, poetry; Katie McCleary, non-fiction reading their own work and holiday favorites.
-3pm: Sinag-tala Philino Theater and Performing Arts Carolers
-4pm: The FreeBadge Serenaders - "irreverant jug jazz" and more!
-5pm: Vox Musica women's vocal music ensemble
Activities include:
-Noon-6pm: Make your own Holiday Notecards & Rhumba Shakers courtesy of Very Special Arts Sacramento/I Can Do That!
Mention SMAC at the register and a portion of your spending will support arts education programs, arts experiences for youth and clients of community organizations, and professional development opportunities for artists and educators.
A percentage of your Barnes & Noble purchases will benefit the Friends of the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission (SMAC).
