The original event, scheduled for November 2010, has been rescheduled for April 2011. Tickets purchased for the canceled event will be honored on the new date.
California Lectures presents Thomas McGuane, bestselling author of Ninety-Two In the Shade and The Cadence of Grass, in conversation with Pam Houston, director of creative writing at the University of California, Davis. Following this conversation, there will be a lively Q&A with the audience and a book signing.
The evening also includes a Lecture Preview: a biographical overview about the author presented by lecturer Steve Cook of Sacramento State. The preview takes place at the Crest Theatre at 6:30pm prior to the author event and is free to all ticket holders.
