Homeschool and individual family groups are invited to visit the Museum regularly for thematic, gallery adventures designed to intrigue children ages six and older.

Reservations are required.

      Remember a few years ago when in a homeschooling groups whom met in the Sacramento Convention Center decided to put a fig leaf on the nude statue of Poseidon, and shockingly the city allowed them to... Expand

      Remember a few years ago when in a homeschooling groups whom met in the Sacramento Convention Center decided to put a fig leaf on the nude statue of Poseidon, and shockingly the city allowed them to do so with the publically owned statue. One had to wonder what were they teaching their children if they couldn't deal with naked Greek statues(?). Those in charge of the Crocker art museum should likewise understand not to cave into demands to censor art anymore than our public libraries. Collapse
