Guitars, drums, fiddle, and mandolin make Whiskey Dawn one of the most exciting lineups to ever come out of Northern California.
Coyote Grace's songs of travel, music, love, and self-discovery are sometimes told softly but more often displayed grittily with the toughened edge of someone who's lived well beyond his years. It's feel-good music if you're happy or sad, full of energy or half asleep. With their debut album Boxes & Bags, Stevens and Elizabeth weave an artistic web of melodies and rhythms as soothing as hot chamomile tea on a cool night, then add lyrics as blatant and honest as a courtroom confession.
