The 2011 Sacramento Mobile Food Festival is called SactoMoFo for short. There'll be over two dozen vendor--some carts, some trucks, and mobile grills--from the Sacramento region and Bay Area--on hand to serve you, your family, and friends a tasty and hopefully mellifluous afternoon of food and music.
Ride your bike or take light rail if possible--Fremont Park is just across from the 16th Street station--out of respect for the park's residential and business neighbors. Parking will be available, but limited. The event is modeled after Off the Grid SF. See what we'll sort of be like in April, but with more room in Fremont Park.
Local trucks: Miniburger Truck; Drewski's Hot Rod; Mama Kim's; Leaven & Earth; La Piedad; Chando's Tacos
SF trucks: Chairman Bao; Hapa SF; Seoul on Wheels; An the Go; Spencer on the Go; Southern Sandwich; Curry Up Now
Other trucks: Whole Foods; General Jim's
Other vendors: Chocolate Fish Coffee; Yogurtagogo/Freshii; The Pizza Company; Emma's Tamales; Esther's Cupcakes; Fat FaceFrom the Bay Area: Chairman Bao; Hapa SF; Lil Green Cyclo; Curry Up Now; Seoul on Wheels.

Parking: Limited Parking at 15th & Q. Metered parking on the streets. $5 parking at East End Garage - 17th between Capitol and L. Regional Transit: The 16th St Lite Rail station is only 1/2 a block away! We highly suggest it! Bicycles: There will be a bicycle valet service provided by SACOG.

I just watched Oprah and they mentioned "Spencers" food truck from San Francisco! They could not rave enough about it- I cant wait!

I think the diversity of events at Freemont Park is fantastic. Chalk It Up, Movie night, & SactoMoFo. This is cool. I look forward to an Artist (Painting, Photography, Spoken Word, Video/Film)... Expand
