Fresh from his explosive and much talked about performance on HBO's upcoming Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam, Jay Phillips is catching fire this year with performances on The Late Late Show, Jimmy Kimmell Live, Laffapalooza, Weekends at the DL, and Showtime's Big Black Comedy Show and landing a leading role opposite Will Ferrell, Woody Harrelson, and Andre 3000 in the upcoming New Line feature Semi Pro. Jay is also catching the industry's attention in his recurring role on the Fox Network/Fuel TV series The Daily Habit, through his hysterical sketch work and in his dramatic role as "Jamani Phipps" on The Shield.

With his urban, intelligent humor, acting chops, and story telling that has been compared to the greats of past and present, Jay is poised for breakthrough level success.
