Premier Orchestra Concerto Concert

The Sacramento Youth Symphony’s Premier Orchestra, the area’s most prestigious group of young classical musicians, will perform their highly anticipated Concerto Concert under the direction of Maestro Michael Neumann. During this concert, two performers will be featured in concertos with the orchestra and one original student composition will be performed.
• Margaux Filet, age 16, SYS flutist from Davis High School, will perform the Hue Fantasy for Flute and Orchestra
• Ariana Fong, age 17, SYS violinist from C. K. McClatchy High School, will perform the Beethoven Violin Concerto in D, op.61, final movement
• Gabriel Ehrlich, age 17, SYS cellist and composer, from Davis High School, will conduct his original composition, Overture to Today
Other works to be performed include works by Josef Strauss, Borodin, J. S. Bach, Lecuona, and Rimsky-Korsakov Orchestra.
