Brighton Beach Memoirs
March 2-March 27, 2011
Add Review/Comment
Neil Simon's semi-autobiographical comedy Brighton Beach Memoirs is the first installment of his "Eugene Trilogy," tracing the coming-of-age of a 15-year-old boy in late-1930s Brooklyn. Eugene Morris Jerome is an aspiring writer and baseball player whose adolescent insights about his family, the Great Depression and growing up are alternately hysterical and touching.
Appropriate for middle school age and up. This performance is on the Main Stage.
