The recent, sudden passing of Francis House Executive Director Greg Bunker has put a resolute exclamation point on the sustaining efforts of the 40-year old poverty resource center.
Victoria Vox, a rising young artist of shimmering folk pop, uses her ukulele as a delicate front color. Vox's silky vocals, haunting and hopeful, recalls Feist or Natalie Merchant. Joined by The Boulder Acoustic Society--rootsy and distinct worldly flair; French and Flamenco influences with accordion, upright bass, and banjo.
