This slapstick comedy takes a look into the lives of two couples struggling between good and starvation. When the neighborhood supermarket begins to double the price of food and the local factory is laying off employees, the neighborhood panics, setting off a chain reaction of lies, mishaps, pregnant 80-year old women, and a "miracle" by Santa Eulalia.
