April 28, 2011
Add Review/Comment
Impressionists became renowned for their plein air paintings of outdoor landscapes. Get ready for the launch of the “Summer of Impressionism” and explore how contemporary artists working in various media incorporate the environment in their work to create a sense of place and history. Artists Enid Baxter Blader and Ned Kahn will participate in a panel discussion moderated by Shelly Willis, Manager of the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission’s Art in Public Places Program.
This program is presented in collaboration with Sacramento Metropolitan Art Commission. Open Art is a part of the program series Thursdays ‘til 9. Sponsored by Bank of America. Free with Museum admission.
