Grimey Tuesday is a dubstep & bass night featuring residents DJ Whores, Crescendo, MC Skurge, MC Bruce Lei, Jaytwo, and X-GVNR.
Upstairs:
-Sacramento's famous dance punks !!! (Chk Chk Chk) are back to rock upstairs at Grimey this time around! If you dont know em....you should. !!! will be stopping by Sacramento on their way to Coachella and will therefore bless us with a sweaty dance explosion that will blow your mind to smithereens.
-Sacramento's soon-to-be-famous jazz, funk, hip-hop band Who Cares is opening up for Chk Chk Chk for the first time at Grimey! Once again...if you arent familiar with these dudes....you def should be!
Downstairs:
-Man Machine is Fresh Machine (Who Cares) & new partner Game Genie. This duo has been killing the west coast with their DJ sets for the last year. This is Fresh Machine's third time playin' Grimey...if you've seen him before then you know that he's bringin' the heaters.
-Wherever the bass is, that's where Billy the Robotresides. Started mixing beats in 1993, formed Ninja Bass Squad with fellow bass head DJ Mantis (aka Matt Loomis) in the mid '90s.
-Ellis Rush is one half of Sac's dubstep crew Red Moon Empire and Eric 2 Percent's right hand man....Ellis delivers the goods.
