Watch a demonstration of watercolor painting and collage then experiment using watercolor, rice paper, and your imagination as you compose a symphony of texture, color, and line.

This class is part of the Crocker's new series—called Saturday Singles—of easygoing, half-day and one-day workshops designed for weekend artists to experiment with different art forms. Other classes in the series explore abstract painting, clay hand building, and beginning photography.

About the Instructor: Gayle Rappaport-Weiland is a professional artist, teacher, consultant, juror, and broadcast art expert for KVIE, radio, and internet shows. Rappaport-Weiland creates art from her soul in watercolor, acrylic, and mixed medias. She is known for her teaching ability and for creating a stress–free, positive learning environment. Her mantra is, “You can do anything you put your mind to.”
