After successfully celebrating Hina Matsuri (Girls Day) in 2009, the Sacramento Senator Lions club is back to generously bring another Japanese tradition, Tango Na Sekku known as Boys Day, to Fairytale Town. Koi banners fly high during this celebration which features Taiko drumming, origami, and Kendo demonstrations. The event also includes an authentic and elaborate Boys Day doll display in the Children's Theater. This event is hosted by the Sacramento Senator Lions Club with Molly Kimura.
