The California Automobile Museum presents The Politician and the Pop Princess featuring the famous powder blue 1974 Plymouth Satellite (owned by California Governor Edmund G. “Jerry” Brown during his first two terms in office, 1975-1983) and a 1982 Porsche 911SC Targa which was originally owned by Brown's one-time girlfriend, rock legend Linda Ronstadt. These vehicles, and additional artifacts, pay affectionate tribute to Governor Brown and Ms. Ronstadt and will take Museum visitors back to the 1970s. The cars and artifacts tell a uniquely "California" story of romance, the media, and the intersection of politics and fame.
