In the words of Mary Carboni: "Using the interplay of color, light, and pattern we can enhance the way we see everyday images. I use my memories, impressions, and the here and now to interpret what I see. My goal is to focus the eye momentarily on simple things that might create an instant of peace, balance, and reflection. In the midst of uncertainty, I have chosen to focus on small moments of tranquility."
