Dine & Donate: 15% of Revenue to Music Circus

Sacramento’s premier fine dining restaurant has partnered with California’s largest nonprofit art organization for a very special Dine & Donate Program. 15% of the proceeds generated at The Firehouse will be donated to California Musical Theatre.

Since its inception in 1951, The California Musical Theatre--producers of the Music Circus, Broadway Sacramento, and Cosmopolitan Cabaret seasons--has grown to be the most successful performing arts organization in Sacramento. Also billed as Sacramento’s oldest musical theatre, the venue entertains more than 300,000 patrons annually.

“The Music Circus has a long and distinguished history in the Sacramento region,” said Lloyd Harvego, owner of The Firehouse. “The continued success of the Theatre is extremely important, and our family is proud to partner with them to help out during this very difficult financial climate.”

California Musical Theatre Executive Director Richard Lewis echoed this sentiment. “I think this is a great way to help our fundraising efforts, while simultaneously introducing The Firehouse Restaurant to our audience,” Lewis said. “In these tough economic times, working together is more important than ever!”

The legendary Firehouse, voted Sacramento’s “Best of the Best” by the subscribers of Sacramento magazine, is known for delicious, expertly prepared dishes, superior service, and an award-winning wine list.
