Drop-dead gorgeous international singer/songwriter Jackie Bristow is a southern girl at heart. Born and raised in the South Island of New Zealand this kiwi has found her wings. Moving to Australia 1994, this is where Jackie established herself as a professional musician and recording artist, signing to Mushroom and Liberation music in 1999, Craving Records in 2005, and Native Tongue in 2007. Beautiful songbird that she is, Jackie has flown halfway around the world with nothing more than her guitar and a dream. Jackie is returning to the USA with a national release of her 3rd album Freedom and a prestigious US tour opening for internationally acclaimed guitar legend Tommy Emmanuel.
Glammed-up folk meets down-to-earth pop music with a hint of country & soul, Jackie Daum is a fearless independent songwriter with a dynamic, blues-inflected voice. Although her songwriting is rooted in pop and folk, she cites blues rocker, Chris Whitley, as her major musical influence. Daum herself has been compared to such diverse artists as Bonnie Raitt, Norah Jones, and Patty Griffin.
The Bobby Zoppi Band is an acoustic-based trio, featuring the stellar vocal stylings of Bobby Zoppi. They combine an eclectic mix of originals and cover material that is sure to have something for everyone. Zoppi has signed with MCA records, and their song One Sun was played in regular rotation on both KWOD 106.5 and 100.5 The Zone.
