    Strange Tongues & Smirker

Strange Tongues are the beloved prodigal sons chucked from the heavens to fill the world with gorgeous tunes and awesome shows. Melting hearts and tearing off heads, they are the echo of heavy guitars and keys, tight bound in a hot love affair with the sultry serenade of two radiant vocalists, joined at the hip and joined at the lungs. They’ve jettisoned the genres and traditions handed down to us and tread for new ground in a kaleidoscope of songs as precious and unique from each other as a face in the thundering sea of their loyal and cherished fans.

The founding members of Smirker (Scott, Jared, and Nic) have been playing music together for 5 years, during which time they have developed a unique sound that combines elements of blues, psychedelic, and classic rock, with frequent improvisation and extended jam sessions. They have an extensive repertoire of cover songs and originals, and are constantly learning and writing new material.
