Hot Tar Roofers

Sacramento bluegrass/rock band the Hot Tar Roofers got together six years ago. Marc and Casey were training for the infamous 30K Death Valley Trail Marathon when they ventured into a convenience store for some cigarettes and little white powdered doughnuts. There, behind the counter, was not one, but two men who shared the name Sanders. Scott and brother Billy convinced Marc and Casey to eat some athletic pudding instead. Then music happened.

Also performing:
-The Perpetual Drifters: a four-piece rock band from Chico, California. The band began in 2007 and includes singer-songwriter Garrett Gray on guitar and vocals, Nolan Ford on guitar and vocals, Evan McPherson on bass, and Justin Wood on drums. Band members come from a variety of musical backgrounds, drawing from a rich palette of old and new sounds.
