We Are The Willows is the project of one singer/songwriter Peter Michael Miller. He writes, arranges, and performs most all of the sounds you hear on his recordings. With his newest release, Places, Peter attempts to capture moments in time, people and places, in a song. He writes of a trip to Sante Fe to visit his brother, or being late to his niece's first birthday party in Hayward, or thinking of a friend in Virginia, experiences that commonly fade away and are forgotten beyond the reach of nostalgia.

Be Brave Bold Robot is "Soul Coughing meets the Mountain Goats meets Bob Dylan meets Tom Waits meets the Counting Crows meets Calexico meets a good friend for a beer and a Bob Wilson lecture." They are a joyous celebration of sinful innocence, of deliberate absent-mindednes, of Social Obligation that tries not to think too much of itself, of one more existential distraction that coyly begs the question: "are you really being honest?"
