ZuhG means "To be unlike others; to do something different." An appropriate name considering those who are familiar with ZuhG’s music find that the only way to describe their style is unique, different, and unlike anything you’ve ever heard before. This ensemble of musicians has been making memorable sounds since Bryan Nichols started the band in 2004. It’s their shared love of music and zest for life that brought them together in the first place to form what is now one of the most recognizable bands in the Sacramento area.

James Cavern, a native Englishman from the city of London, is an aspiring musician. When he moved to the United States in 2000, James brought along his passion for music and his love for such bands as The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. Over time, his other inspirations have been Bob Marley, The Kooks, Jason Mraz, and other artists. Following the movement and careers of these famous musicians, James wanted to turn his dream of pursuing a music career into reality.
