MindX is Northern California’s premiere groove-funk-bluegrass-jazz-psychedelic-rock band. Formed in 1996, they are a 6-piece fusion band from Sacramento, CA. Blending styles from across the spectrum of music, while obliterating genre walls, Mind X confidently charts new territories in live music. A typical Mind X set will include psychedelic rock, bluegrass, jazz, Afro-Celtic, Caribbean, and space, often weaving 2 or more styles into a single piece.
