Come watch these two plays, each complete within themselves, that together create a thought-provoking and intense theatrical experience.
First, in A.R. Gurney’s The Problem, a woman has an announcement, surprising her husband and leading to a series of revelations in this absurd comedy about keeping the passion alive.
Then, in The Zoo Story by Edward Albee, two men meet in a park. One wants to be alone with his thoughts, the other is desperate for human contact. The two of them begin a conversation filled with ironic humor and dramatic suspense that ends in a violent and shocking comment on the human condition.
