Sacramento Man Hunt
September 3, 2011
Add Review/Comment
The 1st ever Sacramento Man Hunt is a 2.5 mile long course through Sacramento. Everyone who shows up will either be a "Runner" or a "Chaser." The goal of the Runner is to make it from the starting point to the finishing point without being caught. The goal of the Chaser is to catch any Runner they see. There is two-hour time cap on the competition. Runners will be given a seven-minute head start.
The catch is Runners must be on foot, and Chasers may be in vehicles. Once a Runner is caught, he becomes a Chaser with the people who caught him. However, Runners do NOT need to stick to main roads. Anything on the grid is fair game, but at your own risk. Feel free to hide, duck, and dodge. See complete rules here.
The starting point is the tunnel in Old Sacramento that connects the K Street Mall to Old Sacramento. The finishing point is the Safeway located on Alhambra. Please arrive a half-hour before the hunt starts to determine sides.
