The songs of Bone Cave Ballet originate with songwriter Jacqui Gilroy. Jacqui takes her classical, punk, folk, experimental background to generate the horizontal voice of the song. This structure gets expanded and refined by band members to create song structures that are both sultry and deep, move into alternate time signatures, and generate heavy rock themes that ride an edge of intensity.
