The Master Singers and guests pay tribute to local choral luminary, Perla Warren, in a concert of various choral styles and genres. An alumni choir of Mrs. Warren's students will also perform. Perla Warren guided the voices of numerous aspiring choral musicians—her pearls—when they studied at American River College. Perla is a master conductor and beloved teacher, a classical pianist with a passion for jazz who ignited similar passions in generations of local musicians, music teachers and conductors, including many of the Master Singers.
