October 1-October 31, 2011
Add Review/Comment
During the entire month of October 2011, ten downtown/midtown restaurants are featuring specialty vegan items (including appetizer/soup, main entrees, desserts) on their menus. This event is a Challenge Contest amongst the participating chefs. Diners who order these vegan delights will have the opportunity to vote for their favorites via the website, and will be entered in a drawing for prizes! Vegan cuisine is nutritious, delicious, cholesterol & dairy-free, contains no animal products (i.e. no meat, poultry, fish, eggs, cheese, dairy, butter, etc.) and is a healthy option that is compassionate toward other people & animals, and is environmentally responsible!
Participating restaurants include: Capitol Garage, Hot Italian, Michaelangelo’s, Tower Bridge Bistro, Kru, 58 Degrees & Holding Co., Bombay Bar & Grill, Aioli Bodega Espanola, Cafe Capricho, Sugar Plum Vegan Cafe.
