Hobos to Street People: Artists' Responses to Homelessness from the New Deal to Present

Hobos to Street People presents a social, cultural and political history of Homelessness from the Great Depression to the present as seen through the work of artists from Dorothea Lange, Rockwell Kent, and Fritz Eichenberg to contemporary artists Kiki Smith, Eric Drooker, Jos Sances, David Bacon, and local artist Francisco Dominguez.
Power Point Presentation and book signing by author, Art Hazelwood, and special guest speaker Shaka Curry from SafeGround.
Hobos to Street People is a touring exhibition that originated in San Francisco in 2008 and is currently on view through Dec 4, 2011 at the de Saisset Museum Santa Clara University.
Donations are welcome to cover transportation costs for the author traveling from the bay area. Any additional funds raised will be donated to SafeGround.
