Poor Pluto
November 12-November 13, 2011
Add Review/Comment
The Discovery Museum Science & Space Center celebrates their 60th Anniversary with a year-long retrospective of science milestones of the last six decades. In November, they continue to celebrate great science of the 2000s.
In 2006, Pluto was declassified as a planet. Pluto then became known as a plutoid in 2008. Although it was “demoted”, Pluto is still an amazing part of the galaxy. Discover more about Pluto and craft a fun project to take home.
Planetarium shows at 1pm and 3pm are included with admission (ages 4 and above only).
