Capital Jazz Project, a non-profit educational jazz ensemble, presents a jazz concert entitled Charles Lloyd: The Saxophone Whisperer. Join the Capitol Jazz Project as they perform Mr. Lloyd’s music. At the height of his fame, Charles Lloyd withdrew from touring and recording on the international jazz scene. When he emerged after years of seclusion and meditation, it was to express a message of spirituality, beauty, and joy in his music.
