The Syndicate is the most outrageous sketch comedy out of Sacramento since The Free Hooch Comedy Troupe. The Syndicate features hilarious fast paced sketch comedy, a guest host, and local bands. It's like watching a live, funny, episode of Saturday Night Live in its heyday. There are over 15 local writers and performers that create a brand new show each month. This month features Uphill Both Ways.

The Syndicate was created by Brian Crall, the owner of the Sacramento Comedy Spot. Crall started is comedy career in 2001 when he created and performed in The Free Hooch Comedy Troupe, which performed from 2001-2005 in Sacramento and was invited to comedy festivals in San Francisco and Los Angeles. While Brian was working to expand the Comedy Spot after they moved to Midtown he put sketch on the back burner. The Syndicate is Brian Crall's, and the Comedy Spot's return to sketch comedy. Crall is looking to make The Syndicate one of the Comedy Spot's flagship shows.
