Anthony Colantuono, Ph.D., associate professor of art history at the University of Maryland, will inaugurate the exhibition Florence and the Baroque, sharing his expertise in the one of the most dramatic periods of art history. Colantuono will discuss the artistic and cultural context in Florence that led to the creation of the paintings of the Dandini family, Francesco Furini, Felice Ficherelli, and additional artists on view in the exhibition.
