Add Review/Comment
Colors and Words presents three artist and three poets pairing their works together to share a collaborative vision. Poetry readings of the area's secret and individual life journeys are on Thurs and Sat evening of opening weekend.
James Humphrey shares his painting and poems as a tale through his life. Artist Michael Mikolon unveils watercolor landscapes with Shawn Pittard's poems of the Twin Rivers. Michael Thomas shares futurist and character based watercolors with Daniel Mendoza's stories of ancient life.
James Humphrey's poems of life, love, and loss work as summaries to his bright and dark abstracts. The late James Humphrey's poetry and paintings are a tribute to his life reaching beyond his turbulent childhood.
Michael Mikolon premiers brilliant watercolors sharing visions of rolling hills and rivers. The Japanese brush stroke student shows influence of his techniques with sharp shading and flawless blends of color. Together with Poet, Shawn Pittard the watercolors share a story of the majestic Twin Rivers and all their secrets.
Michael Thomas and Daniel Mendoza collaborate on art and writing through their artist collective MENDOMAS. Their works are youthful and colorful reflections on life.
Opening reception on Preview Thursday features poetry readings, artist meet and greet, and live music.
