What happens when you give the four women in Menopause The Musical the black lace bra and a microphone? Menopause The Musical IN CONCERT, a unique experience in theatre entertainment. It is all the words, the jokes, the fabulous songs but staged in a concert format. Menopause The Musical In Concert is the unique experience in theatre entertainment you've been waiting for. The laughter-filled, 90-minute production includes parodies from the classics of the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s such as transforming "Puff the Magic Dragon" into “Puff, My God I’m Draggin’”. Each week women of all ages and stages find their spirits lifted by the show’s light-hearted look at menopause. No longer is it The Silent Passage!
MTMIC has all the music, songs and dialogue of MTM, but is performed in a traditional concert format. This means that instead of using the trademark MTM costumes and sets, the cast performs the show dressed in gowns while they are seated on stools and bathed in pools of light. The concert is staged with props and wigs as the full show, their costumes are the finale sparkly blacks, there is modified choreography, hot flash fans are sold at the beginning of the show and the audience is asked to join the ladies in the traditional celebration kickline with the cast at the end...All the words...music...and laughter! In Concert...
