23 Shades is the newest project from acclaimed singer-songwriter Aaron Cuadra. The band’s honest and personal brand of rock ‘n’ roll boasts spacey ambience, meaningful lyrics and memorable hooks imbued with a radio-ready edge. Cuadra’s refreshing originality is a rare find in an industry full of copycats and knockoffs of the “next big thing." 23 Shades defies the temptation to follow suit or worry about what's hip and new, while remaining catchy and accessible.
Born and raised in Delaware, singer/songwriter, Quinn Hedges had been around music his entire life, but began playing guitar and writing songs around the age of 15. After moving to California and earning his degree in music, Hedges became more serious about his writing and decided to record an album, blending folk, jazz, and blues into his original songs and released the self-titled album Quinn Hedges in 2006.
