When you catch Hollywood Texas Blues live you will notice a few things different from many bands: a directed passion and lots of it! No set lists, eyes closed and a warm growl of many vintage tube amps being pushed to their limits all at once. Then with a wave of a hand it's so quiet you can hear the fender telecasters large strings being played through the vocal mic coming through the sound system. Then, like hitting the old garage door springs with a baseball bat, the vintage reverb tank rings through the two 60's fender guitar amps. And you would expect a barn burning guitar scared face peeler, but you get a Texas style big tone guitar solo from the school of Jimmy Vaughan and Anzio Funderberg backed by Kevin Burtons (Joe Louis Walker) spinning leslie speaker and swelling drawbar work mixed with the rhythm section building like a train that will hit that "monkey nerve" like a heebbe geebbe! This will make you want to grab a woman and dance song after song!
