Jelly Bread is the combination of a pumping rhythm section that grew up together playing in a gospel band, an award-winning singer/songwriter who approaches music from a Ben Harper/John Butler point of view, rootsy funk/rock guitar licks with a bit of dirt under the nails, and three part male-female vocal harmonies that add textures as rough as sandpaper, and as soft as velvet.
Steeped in roots, wallowing in funk, and marinated in soul, Jelly Bread was brought to life in the back room of Top Notch Barber Shop in Sparks, NV. Mixing roots, rock, reggae, gospel, blues, and funk into a seamless fusion they call "Jelly Bread Love."
