Called “Sacramento’s supreme torch singer,” Keri Carr (formerly of Rowdy Kate) and her band blend a mix of the classic country rock made famous by the Flying Burrito Brothers, Emmylou Harris, and Little Feat, and the traditional Mexican music Carr learned growing up, from dance-floor scorchers to soulful tear-jerkers. The band features Carr on vocals, Steve Randall and Richard March on guitar, Larry Carr on drums, R.W. Grigsby on bass, and Beth Reid-Grigsby on supporting vocals.
