2nd Sunday Burlesque 101 Workshop

Explore your inner Siren with themed, guided character building exercises. Learn how to get comfortable in your skin and achieve a performer's nuance and grace while working with different props and costume pieces. Did we mention you get an awesome workout? Fishnets encouraged!

This two-hour workshop begins by presenting an overview of burlesque fusion basics, including movement, history, and technique, and was created to afford a vehicle for students to celebrate themselves and take some time to explore their sensuality with a throwback to the classics infused with the Siren's signature flair.

This workshop is open to all levels, and is geared to accommodate students of any (or none!) performance/dance background. Whether you are brand new to burlesque, or a technical dancer looking to diversify your style, this workshop is sure to afford you a multi-faceted and exciting burlesque experience.
